The Day We Met - April 18, 2010

The day we finally met Olivia was April 18. Our guide, Mary, told us that Olivia would be at the hotel at 5:30 in the lobby. We were in the lobby at 5:00, just waiting for a glimpse of her. At 5:10, in walks the orphanage director and a nanny, who was carrying our daughter. I watched her from across the room for what felt like eternity, just waiting for our guide to arrive. When she was finally placed in my arms, she rested her head on my shoulder like she just knew I was her mama. She is such a happy little girl and we love her so much.
